McIntoshRoss tour reviews
The first ever mcIntosh Ross tour has been well recieved by those who attended the shows and the press. Here are some of the reviews we have spotted:
Sunday Mail - 15/11/09
Oran Mor - Glasgow 06 November 09
The much anticipated duo showcased a selection from their new album The Great Lakes to much praise from the audience, who remained virtually silent for the whole gig, content to soak up the stellar song writing and refined harmonies from Lorraine McIntosh, Ricky Ross and their band.
The eponymous couple have produced a record and live sound worthy of extreme merit, creating a blend of Scottish folk with southern Americana and a heartfelt lyricism. From the soaring sound of All My Trust I Place In You to the gentle a capella Jesus nailed my sins upon the Tree, McIntosh Ross have found a project which grabs both Deacon Blue veterans and new fans alike. It is only a couple of days before he is due to headline Homecoming Live’s Final Fling at Glasgow’s SECC, but I eventually run Ricky Ross to ground in Damascus.
